Frances lives and works in Mid-Cornwall. After making handthrown, beautifully decorated ware for many years she became interested in  hand building, burnishing and smoke firing individual pieces.  Although marine crustaceans, rock formations and fossils texture her work she is inspired by antiquity, archeological finds and in particular burial treasures, sarcophagi and pieces made to carry one into the after life.
